New album: Gregor Meyle mit "Hätt auch anders kommen können"

Gregor Meyle überzeugt ein weiteres Mal mit einem wunderschönen und einfühlsamen Album. The Dead South

I am sure many of you have heard already of the Regina (Canada) based bluegrass band. Their last year's (2017) music video to the band's single "In Hell He'll Be in Good Company" went viral and this year, in 2018, The Dead South  has won the Canadian Juno Awards with it's album Illusion & Doubt in the category 'Traditional Roots Album of the Year'.

Kelly Clarkson - Meaning Of Life

Lately, I have been impressed and inspired by a woman in music, who just kind of re-invented and re-defined herself. Kelly Clarkson (click) concluded in 2015 her contract with RCA Records by releasing her third number-one album "Piece by Piece" and singned with Atlantic Records in 2016. Her new album "Meaning of Life" was released in 2017 and is influenced by Soul and R&B music.

At the beginning of February 2018, she released her second single "I don't think about you" that allowes to get to know Kelly's story at least a little bit.

For me, Kelly Clarkson is truly a strong woman in the music business who gives everything and works hard to pursue her dreams and goals.

Eli Tidmore - Chameleon

The artist I want to present to you today is an independent musical artist based out of East Texas, USA. With the age of 24, he just released his debut album "Chameleon". It is produced by Evan Lick and consists of 12 different songs - all written and performed by the artist himself. The tracks are each unique and don't fit into one category or genre, it is more a merge of Rock, Pop, and Singer-Songwriter stiles with sparkles of R&B and Hip-Hop.

Eli Tidmore is sure one musician to watch out for in the future.

David Duchovny Music - Every Third Thought

Relatively new in the music scene/music 'biz' is David Duchovny.

Among the wider public he is known for his famous acting as Fox Mulder in The X-Files or as Hank Moody in Californication. After his first album in 2015 - "Hell or Highwater" - Duchovny now released his second studio album in early February 2018. "Every Third Thought" is out now. Get the review here ;-)

FABER

Lately, a young talented singer song-writer from Switzerland caught my attention because his lyrics are so full with really true statements, underlaid with a certain satire, irony and sarcasm. His music is in German language, and although that might not fit into my international music blog, I am confident to say that this young man has the potential to make it to the top of the German-speaking singer-songwriter scene. If he is not already there!

I am talking about FABER.

Run With It Band

The "Run With It" Band consists of three US-American guys, Miguel, Ben and Daniel.

Thorsteinn Einarsson

Thorsteinn Einarsson is an Austrian - Icelandic Singer songwriter who became famous through the Austrian casting show "the big chance". He is originally from Reykjavik and came to Salzburg in Austria with the age of five. After three years, his parents went seperate ways and he moved with his mother back to Iceland. With the age of 11, Thorsteinn Einarsson set up his first band. With the age of 14 he moved to Austria again, where his father was working as an opera singer. In 2014 he participated in the Austrian casting show and got to the finale as the only male participant. In the end he got placed as 4th. With his song "Leya", which he partially wrote by himself, he appeard in the "Top 10" of the Austrian Charts. In 2015 he got awarded with the Austrian Amadeus Music Award, in the category "songwriter of the year".

Kaleo

Kaleo is an Icelandic rock band that formed at Mosfellsbær in 2012. The band consists of JJ Julius Son (Jökull Júlíusson) (vocals and guitar), David Antonsson (percussion and vocals), Daniel Kristjansson (bass guitar), and Rubin Pollock (guitar and vocals). They have released two studio albums, Kaleo (2013) and A/B (2016), as well as an EP, Glasshouse (2013). A/B has sold over 175,000 albums worldwide. One of the singles from A/B, "Way Down We Go", has been sold over 500,000 times in the US and reached #1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart on August 20, 2016.

The group has made multiple appearances on late night television shows including Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Australian Sunrise

Australian Sunrise is a swedish band consisting of the three brothers Linus, Jesper and Anton, their cousin Viktor and Tim. The band was created in the summer of 2012 and 2015 they released their first CD containing the single Bye California Life. 
Australian Sunrise is a Singer-songwriter band and plays mostly acoustic and alternative rock. The band is influenced by diverse bands and artists like Coldplay, Needtobreathe, The Goo Goo Dolls, John Mayer and Ed Sheeran.
